Making private education accessible to all

Carson Smith Opportunity Scholarship. The 2024 Utah State Legislature passed a bill merging the Special Needs Opportunity Scholarship program with the Carson Smith Scholarship program. Children First Education Fund will administer the new combined program. This bill allows students who were enrolled in a private school and who were awarded the legacy Carson Smith scholarship to stay in that program if they choose. All the terms and conditions of the program will remain the same, and the program will continue to be administered by USBE.

Legacy Carson Smith students may switch to the new Carson Smith Opportunity Scholarship (CSOS) program, and will be automatically approved for the 2024-25 school year as long as eligibility standards continue to be met. Legacy Carson Smith students only need to complete the CFEF application by clicking the button below.

The Utah Fits All Scholarship Program, launching for the first time in the 2024-2025 school year, offers tax free scholarship funds to eligible students for use toward eligible education related expenses.

Financial aid at Anthem Prep helps to provide deserving students the opportunity of a high-quality education, which might otherwise be unobtainable. It provides the school with a well-qualified student body that reflects a broad social and economic mix. Financial aid decisions are made independently from admissions decisions and do not affect a candidate’s chances for admission.
